Account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address. Organization names, if provided, should accurately represent your organization.

Your Data

We collect only what you provide: your email address, password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing and encryption), and optional organization name. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

We process your data to provide and improve Ductwork. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of our contract with you (these terms) and our legitimate interest in operating the service.

Your Rights

If you're in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or other regions with applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain it.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Ductwork for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' access to the service

Service Availability

We aim to keep Ductwork available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms and will notify you of significant changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect.

Limitation of Liability

Ductwork is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Illinois, United States. If you're an EU consumer, you retain any mandatory protections under your local law.
